The ICT Fundamentals Instructor introduces students to core computing concepts — computer literacy, office productivity tools, internet and email use, file management, and basic digital safety. This is an entry-level, high-impact role focused on building a strong foundation for students who are new to technology before they progress into more specialized tracks.

• 01Deliver foundational training on computer hardware, operating systems, and file management
• 02Teach office productivity tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• 03Cover internet basics, email etiquette, and online safety
• 04Introduce basic troubleshooting and digital literacy concepts
• 05Assess student progress through practical exercises
• 06Prepare students for progression into more advanced technical courses
• 07Maintain instructional facilities used for training and ensure the safety of students
• 08Research and recommend learning systems
• 09Conduct specific training for the trainee
• 10Give projects to students to test what has been learned
• 11Evaluate the effectiveness of each training session

• 01Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT training or support
• 02Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer operations
• 03Patient, clear communication style suited to beginner learners
• 04Ability to simplify technical concepts for a non-technical audience
• 05BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or its equivalent
• 06Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
• 07Graphics skills will be an added advantage (Photoshop or CorelDraw)
• 08Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 09Good organization and multi-tasking abilities
• 10Post NYSC experience in teaching will be an added advantage

• 01Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 02IC3 or Microsoft Office Specialist certification is a plus
• 03Teaching or facilitation experience preferred
