About this role
As a Graphics & UI/UX Design Instructor, you will teach students both traditional graphic design and modern digital product design. The curriculum covers typography, branding, and layout alongside UI/UX fundamentals — wireframing, prototyping, and usability principles — using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma. Students graduate with portfolios spanning brand assets and app/web interface designs.

Responsibilities
- 01Deliver training on graphic design principles and industry tools
- 02Teach UI/UX fundamentals: wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and usability testing
- 03Guide students through creating brand assets, marketing materials, and app/web interfaces
- 04Introduce design systems and component-based design workflows
- 05Review and critique student work to develop their design judgment
- 06Help students build a portfolio spanning both graphics and UI/UX projects
- 07Maintain instructional facilities used for training and ensure the safety of students
- 08Research and recommend learning systems
- 09Conduct specific training for the trainee
- 10Give projects to students to test what has been learned
- 11Evaluate the effectiveness of each training session

Requirements
- 01Minimum 2 years of professional design experience across graphics and/or UI/UX
- 02Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- 03Strong portfolio demonstrating both visual design and product design work
- 04Understanding of usability principles and responsive design
- 05Excellent visual communication and teaching skills
- 06BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or its equivalent
- 07Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
- 08Graphics skills will be an added advantage (Photoshop or CorelDraw)
- 09Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 10Good organization and multi-tasking abilities
- 11Post NYSC experience in teaching will be an added advantage

Qualifications
- 01Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, HCI, or related field
- 02UI/UX certification (Google, Coursera, or equivalent) is a plus
- 03Teaching or mentoring experience preferred
