As a Full Stack Development Instructor at New Horizons, you will guide students through the complete software development lifecycle — from front-end interfaces to back-end APIs and databases. You will design and deliver hands-on curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, and cloud deployment. This role is ideal for experienced developers who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of Nigerian tech talent.

• 01Deliver instructor-led training on full stack web development technologies
• 02Design practical lab exercises and capstone projects for students
• 03Mentor students on coding best practices, debugging, and version control
• 04Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and practical assessments
• 05Stay current with industry trends and update curriculum accordingly
• 06Provide career guidance and portfolio review for graduating students
• 07Maintain instructional facilities used for training and ensure the safety of students
• 08Research and recommend learning systems
• 09Conduct specific training for the trainee
• 10Give projects to students to test what has been learned
• 11Evaluate the effectiveness of each training session

• 01Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience
• 02Proficiency in at least one front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular)
• 03Strong knowledge of back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, or Java)
• 04Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• 05Excellent communication and presentation skills
• 06Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 07BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or its equivalent
• 08Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
• 09Graphics skills will be an added advantage (Photoshop or CorelDraw)
• 10Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 11Good organization and multi-tasking abilities
• 12Post NYSC experience in teaching will be an added advantage

• 01Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 02Teaching or training experience is a strong advantage
• 03Industry certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are a plus
