The CAD Instructor will teach students how to create precise 2D and 3D technical drawings for engineering, architecture, and manufacturing applications. The curriculum covers AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360, along with drafting standards, dimensioning, and design documentation. Students will learn to produce professional-grade technical drawings and 3D models.

• 01Deliver training on 2D drafting and 3D modeling using industry CAD software
• 02Teach technical drawing standards, dimensioning, and tolerancing
• 03Guide students through design projects for mechanical, architectural, or product design
• 04Cover 3D printing workflows and manufacturing considerations
• 05Assess student work through design projects and practical examinations
• 06Maintain lab equipment and software licenses
• 07Maintain instructional facilities used for training and ensure the safety of students
• 08Research and recommend learning systems
• 09Conduct specific training for the trainee
• 10Give projects to students to test what has been learned
• 11Evaluate the effectiveness of each training session

• 01Minimum 2 years of professional CAD design experience
• 02Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one 3D modeling tool (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Revit)
• 03Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and GD&T
• 04Experience in mechanical, architectural, or product design
• 05Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• 06BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or its equivalent
• 07Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
• 08Graphics skills will be an added advantage (Photoshop or CorelDraw)
• 09Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 10Good organization and multi-tasking abilities
• 11Post NYSC experience in teaching will be an added advantage

• 01Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or Industrial Design
• 02Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent is a plus
• 03Teaching or training experience preferred
